There is nothing like enjoying the outdoors with your nearest and dearest. You could go for a hike, if you’re feeling adventurous, or even go to your local park. It counts! Enjoy some greenery and fresh air. You could organize a group of your friends and pack a picnic and a ball, then have a fun group game. I’ve often done that with my friends, and I find it to be a good way to keep fit. You don’t even realize how many calories you are probably shedding by just having a bit of fun!
You could plan a special day trip to see some natural scenery with your family, this may even educational. I actually enjoy going to places where you have to do a lot of walking, because it’s good for you and I find that you don’t even realize how much your doing, because you are so excited to reach your destination.
Camping is also an obvious choice; it can be a fun, but relatively low-cost holiday, that allows you to spend more time outdoors. If you prepare well, and are organized it could be an amazing time.
The weather/season also often decides what activities are available. In winter I love to go ice-skating. I am yet to try sledging and skiing, but they look quite some interesting sports!
Swimming is a great way to keep fit but have fun to. Water slides are so much fun, a day at the beach or at the pool, never tires me.
There really are so many way to enjoy the outdoors, so try to make good use of different events and opportunities near where you live, especially when the weather is good.
