This super easy-listen (while doing chores/driving) book addresses when (and what do when) an individual is not really happy about one's life, but also not unhappy enough to do anything about it. Being written in 2010, the content references current times. No reference in this book to a higher power philosophy or world principles; rather, the author just sites that he is living proof that his system works. And, by extension that if reader follows his personal coaching techniques, then the reader can be successful too. Turn your life goals into daily habits = success. Narrator Note: A 1 Star-rating reduction, for the overly exuberant, millenial author-turned-narrator who comes off like a late-night-TV salesman or that mega-perky gym personal trainer you can only take so much of at one time.

Amazing book. A lot of people are saying its "common sense" and things that they already know. I can almost guarantee that the people writing those reviews are the exact people that this book is made for and they're just not seeing the big picture or taking any action to change their lives. This book is absolutely amazing if you're following the action steps the author recommends. He pretty much tells you that the things he is teaching you is common sense but with the way our brains are wired in todaya society, most people fall into being a victim of not taking action into these "common sense" things and instead live a life blaming other people and not taking action. If you listen to this book and your not taking action and actually making the changes hes recommending then yes this book is pointless common sense. It wasn't until I started truly implementing the things he was recommending and giving it more then 30 days to realize the effects and change it had on my life. Two months ago all I did was play video games and had no routine or habits or behaviors to help me with my life. Today I'm 100% a different person then I was two months ago and I'm making big improvements to get towards my life goals.

Nothing I didn't know before. 99% of the book is common sense. It seems that the author assumes that everybody is in an utterly miserable state of life, being overweight, eating tons of junk food every day, watching hours of stupid TV shows and struggling in interpersonal relationship. If you are a normal person, eating reasonably healthy, not overweight, not watching hours of TV and have a family or loved ones around you, you don't need this book (I guess most people don't).

Very good book, one of those that you need to re-read (re-listen) every now and then.

Totally agree with the "anonymous" rating below. Most of the book is common sense and the narrator is annoying. Sorry, but true.

Loved it

The audiobook initially caught my attention and I was hoping to be inspired. However, the narrator's voice sounds extremely disingenuous and fake. The content itself discusses common sense concepts using many hypothetical examples and almost too convenient to be true anecdotes. Would not recommend, wish I could return the book for another.
